Next Gen Marketers Program

Are you a college senior or recent graduate interested in a career in marketing?
Ready to start your job search, but unsure of where to focus?
Need help finding the best fit for you (e.g. start ups, B2B, agency)?

Apply to be a Next Gen Marketer! In this 6-week program, you’ll learn about marketing careers, prepare for your job search, and grow your network.

Summer 2026 Program: June 30 – August 4, 2026
Join a small group of your peers to learn more about marketing careers
and prepare for your job search. Here’s what you can expect:
  • Mentorship from a seasoned marketer (1:1)
  • Marketing Spotlight Sessions: Expert marketers share career experiences and typical day-to-day activities of various marketing roles in different industries
  • Polished Marketing Resume (Group Workshop & 1:1 feedback session)
  • Interview Skills (Group Coaching Workshop & 1:1 feedback session)
  • Networking: Opportunities to connect with EM’s community (over 1,000 marketers)
  • Job Access: Post Grad participants can apply for marketing contract roles with EM’s clients like Adobe, Dropbox, Intuit, LinkedIn, Meta, PayPal, Visa, etc.

*Note: participation in this program does not guarantee you a marketing role, but we will support you in your search.

Zoom Meetings/Sessions (6) generally take place on Tuesday from 12-1pm PT. For our Summer Cohort, there is a potential for in person meetings to maximize networking opportunities with marketing experts. Participants are expected to meet with their mentor at least three times, but these meetings may be scheduled at different times. Have a scheduling conflict? We’ll work with you.

Created by marketers for marketers, EM has been providing marketing services and placing marketing talent in companies for over 20 years. In addition to helping people find work, we’re also a tight knit community of marketing professionals who share best practices, support each other, and have fun together. EM works with a variety of clients of various sizes across industries.

Members are expected to attend the majority of the 6 sessions. A few sessions may be scheduled at different times depending on the availability of the speaker/coach or if the program participants decide on an alternative date/time. Majority of the meetings will be held on Zoom.

Yes. Work with your mentor to find a day and time that is best for your schedules. We will send you recordings of all the sessions. You can connect with others in your cohort as well as the EM Community of marketers via our online community (THE EM CIRCLE). We will also work with you 1:1 to connect you with people who fit your interest.

Yes. College seniors, graduate students, or new graduates who are interested in a marketing career path are welcome!

Yes. This program would be appropriate for people with less than five years post-grad who are interested in learning more about marketing.

No, any one who is interested in exploring marketing is welcome! We have had English majors, anthropology majors, and psychology majors just to name a few.

Cohort sizes range from 5-10 participants.  We keep it small so we can make sure everyone gets a personalized experience.
