HubSpot Marketing Operations Manager
Role Overview:
Zerigo Health is seeking a hands-on HubSpot Marketing Operations Manager to stabilize and improve its marketing automation infrastructure as the company shifts from largely manual direct mail toward digital-first, always-on member acquisition campaigns. This person will audit and clean up the current HubSpot environment, clarify data flows, strengthen deliverability and reporting, and build scalable automated journeys across email and other channels. The ideal consultant can diagnose problems, recommend a practical path forward, and personally implement the work—not simply deliver strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a comprehensive audit of HubSpot Marketing Hub, the HubSpot-hosted website, campaign architecture, workflows, lists, properties, reporting, domains, permissions, and existing integrations.
- Trace and document how current data entered HubSpot, identify gaps or duplication, and establish a clear source-of-truth model.
- Partner with Zerigo’s data operations and Salesforce stakeholders to define the appropriate flow of member and campaign data from Databricks and other systems into HubSpot.
- Clean up and standardize contact properties, segmentation, lifecycle stages, naming conventions, campaign hierarchy, workflows, and governance practices.
- Diagnose email-domain, sender-reputation, consent, and spam-complaint issues and implement deliverability improvements.
- Rebuild campaign reporting, dashboards, and attribution so the marketing team can understand performance at the campaign, audience, client, and channel levels.
- Design and implement automated member journeys, beginning with email and expanding to direct mail, paid social, and other channels as the underlying infrastructure matures.
- Build and quality-check emails, forms, landing pages, lists, workflows, triggers, and campaign assets within HubSpot.
- Collaborate closely with the Growth Marketing & Integrated Campaign Manager to translate campaign plans into reliable, measurable execution.
- Document the operating model, train internal users, and provide practical recommendations regarding the HubSpot website, future integrations, and any potential platform changes.
Qualifications:
- Substantial hands-on experience administering and optimizing HubSpot Marketing Hub in a complex or evolving environment.
- Strong knowledge of HubSpot’s CRM data model, properties, segmentation, workflows, campaign tools, reporting, domains, permissions, and email infrastructure.
- Demonstrated ability to audit and clean up an inherited HubSpot instance while continuing to support active marketing needs.
- Experience integrating HubSpot with Salesforce, data warehouses, APIs, or middleware; familiarity with Databricks is a plus.
- Deep understanding of email deliverability, sender reputation, authentication, consent management, and compliant audience outreach.
- Experience building automated lifecycle, acquisition, or member-engagement journeys across multiple channels.
- Healthcare, pharmaceutical, digital-health, or other regulated-industry experience is strongly preferred, including awareness of HIPAA, PHI, and patient-marketing constraints.
- Highly execution-oriented and comfortable working through ambiguity, documenting decisions, and collaborating with marketing, data, operations, and executive stakeholders.
- Reliable, responsive, and able to maintain a consistent part-time working schedule with clear availability.
