Principal Program Manager
Role Overview:
Kilowatt Marketing is looking for a highly motivated Program Manager to support our client’s Commercial Operations team across Marketing, Communications, and Strategic Partnerships. In this role, you will serve as the connective tissue between
strategy and execution, owning the planning rhythm and turning ambiguous business problems into decisions leadership can act on.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working cross-functionally with Finance, Marketing, Product, Sales, and executive leadership. You will work at the intersection of business strategy, data analysis, and AI-enabled operations, partnering closely with cross-functional leaders to translate priorities into measurable outcomes and build the operating cadence that keeps them on track.
Note: There are 2 positions for this opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Manage programs and initiatives from planning through execution, collaborating with Finance, Marketing, Product, and Sales to ensure alignment and effective implementation.
- Build and maintain roadmaps, detailed end-to-end plans, and stakeholder maps; identify risks, drive mitigation, and contribute to continuous process improvement.
- Use AI-assisted tools to shorten cycle time and reach decisions faster, favoring fixes that address root causes rather than adding another process or layer.
- Translate business and customer data into the KPIs and insights that show whether the strategy is working.
- Analyze business performance, market trends, and operational metrics to support strategic decisions, using AI and automation to speed up analysis so more time goes to generating insight than assembling data.
- Support executive decision-making by distilling complex analysis into clear recommendations, alternatives, and tradeoffs, communicated through concise presentations, written narratives, program roadmaps, and dashboards.
- Flag critical issues and dependencies early, determine the path to green before issues become blockers, and develop practical, creative solutions.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in program management, marketing operations, or strategy consulting, ideally within management consulting, a large technology company, or marketing strategy delivery.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data and KPI trend analysis.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to build partnerships and communicate with stakeholders across the organization, including senior leaders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously in an ambiguous environment, with strong organizational skills and a bias for action.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools to increase personal and team productivity.
- Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with limited day-to-day oversight.
